We are a tax preparation and bookkeeping firm based in Downtown Calgary, seeking an experienced T1 tax preparer to join our team for the remainder of the Canadian tax season (through to approximately mid-June) or longer depending on work volumes and fit.
About the Position:
You will be responsible for preparing and finalizing personal tax returns, including rental and self-employment income. For more complex tax returns, there is a senior staff member available to review and/or finalize returns you are not comfortable finalizing yourself.
Experience and Qualifications:
3+ years/tax seasons of experience
Working knowledge of qualified Canadian tax software (TaxCycle)
Comfortable communicating directly with clients both by email and telephone
