Our highly valued client in the wholesale/distribution industry is looking for a Bilingual Business Development Manager to join their team!

n

Responsibilities:

n

- Manage existing accounts and cultivate revenue growth
- Identify and engage with potential clients including hotels, restaurants, grocery chains, etc.
- Utilize your strong entrepreneurial skills to proactively identify recent business opportunities
- Develop and implement business development strategies to drive pipeline growth and achieve sales targets
- Conduct in-person visits to prospective clients understanding and addressing their specific needs
- Collaborate closely with the sales team to ensure seamless onboarding of new clients
- Stay up to date on industry developments and market trends to identify recent business opportunities

Qualifications:

n

- University degree in Business or equivalent preferred
- 5+ years of sales experience with a track record of meeting/exceeding targets
- Bilingual (English & Cantonese) highly preferred




- Have existing connections or the ability to build relationships with prospects at big box retail outlets, grocery chains, hotels, restaurants, etc.
- Proven prospecting, negotiation, conflict resolution and customer service skills as well as proven approach to access decision makers at client organizations
- Utilize CRM tools to organize accounts, opportunities and drive consistent sales execution
- Effective presentation and communication skills, ability to think quickly and make decisions
- Energetic, self-starter, detail-oriented, polite and possess persuasive communication skills
- Ability to work independently, in a team setting and meet deadlines
- Access to a vehicle for client visitations
- Willingness to travel within Canada on a periodic basis as required
- Working knowledge of MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel)
