The Finance Manager is responsible for overseeing the company’s internal financial operations, ensuring accurate financial reporting, strong internal controls, and compliance with applicable accounting standards. This role partners closely with senior finance leadership and cross-functional teams to support budgeting, payroll processing, monthly and quarterly close, audits, and process improvements.

Key Responsibilities:

- Oversee monthly / quarterly financial close processes
- Review / create journal entries, account reconciliations and supporting schedules
- Own and manage the payroll process, being the link between the Company and the ERP
- Ensure compliance with internal policies and external reporting requirements
- Design and maintain effective internal financial controls




- Identify control gaps and recommend process improvements
- Support quarterly / annual budgeting
- Monitor results against budget and investigate variances
- Oversee day to day finance operations, including but not limited to AP, AR and payroll
- Manage and mentor junior finance staff
- Review work prepared by team members

Qualifications:n

- Bachelors degree in accounting, finance, or a related field
- Has earned or is on the way to earning a qualified accounting designation (CPA, CA, or equivalent)
- 3+ years of experience in accounting or finance
- Strong understanding of financial reporting, internal controls, and IFRS
- Understanding of Netsuite or SAP (nice to have)
