Position: Financial Assistant
n
Pay Rate: $19-$20/Hr. on T4
n
Location: Chatham ON (Hybrid)
n
Duration: 12+ Months (Possible Extension)
n
Key Responsibilities:
n
- Complete posting and balancing activities for payments received
- Processing returned payment transactions against customer accounts
- Investigating and correcting misapplied payments
- Correcting payment exceptions for successful application of cheque payments
- Completion of customer and stakeholder cases for payment and refund transactions
- Other duties as assigned

Minimum Qualifications:
n
- High School Diploma (Post-secondary education in a financial area is preferred)
- 0-3 years of experience in a financial environment, bookkeeping, or accounting
- Basic understanding of bookkeeping principles
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Excellent interpersonal & communication skills
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
