Financial Controller - Mississauga, ON (Office Based Role) - Manufacturing Industry

Salary: $120,000 - $140,000 + total compensation package

Responsibilities:

n

- Lead financial strategy, planning, and risk management for the company
- Oversee daily finance operations including A/R, A/P, payroll, and journal entries.
- Manage budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting with KPI dashboards.
- Ensure compliance with tax regulations and accounting standards (GAAP).
- Support job costing and project financial analysis.
- Monitor cash flow and manage banking activities.
- Coordinate external audits and maintain internal controls.
- Build relationships with financial institutions and service providers.

Team & Process Management

- Supervise finance staff.




- Promote a productive work environment and ensure proper documentation of processes.
- Drive staff development, performance management, and training.
- Align team goals with company strategy and delegate effectively.

Experience Required

n

- CPA designation
- Minimum 5+ years of progressive accounting experience, including at least 2 years in a leadership role.
- Job costing and inventory management
- Robust background in manufacturing preferred
- Excellent analytical, communication, and leadership skills.
- Proficiency with ERP systems and advanced Excel skills.
