They are currently seeking an experienced, passionate, and innovative Food and Beverage Manager to oversee all aspects of food and beverage service and event management for one of the hotel group’s locations.

This role will lead the restaurant, bar, and events teams while supporting on-site programming and activations that contribute to the venue’s dynamic atmosphere. The successful candidate will bring strong experience in hiring, training, and mentoring high-performing teams, along with a proven track record of achieving results in sales growth, labour cost management, employee retention and development, guest satisfaction, health and safety, AGCO and regulatory compliance, and operational standards. A natural and genuine leader, the ideal candidate believes deeply in the art of hospitality, thrives in building a fun and collaborative work environment, and takes pride in delivering memorable guest experiences.

The Salary range is 60-80K plus bonus and benefits

Description
n
- Understanding, adhering to and executing all F&B; operational policies and procedures, standards and training programs.
- Ensuring a unique and genuine guest experience by empowering staff to resolve issues, while acting as a supportive and active leader who will manage situations as they evolve.
- Maintaining a strong focus on achieving and/or exceeding revenue targets, within acceptable labor cost and service standard parameters.
- Monitoring and managing service, quality, health and safety, and cleanliness.
- Ensuring that all municipal and provincial laws are being adhered to.
- Working in tandem with the host team to ensure all reservations are input correctly and honoured in a timely fashion, to maximize restaurant yield and guest experiences.
- Ensuring that each of guest receives extraordinary hospitality.
- Finding opportunities to develop relationships with repeat guests to capture return business in the neighbourhood/community.

Requirements
n
- 2-3 years of progressive management experience in a fine or casual dining environment
- Strong preference given to candidates with a minimum ISG, WSET or comparable Level 1 wine training
- Smart serve certified
- Awareness of and interest in current culinary trends in the marketplace
- Operations management experience in a high-volume establishment with significant experience with reservation systems,
event and large party bookings
- Experienced trainer and mentor to large staff teams
- Demonstrated patience, tact and diplomacy while leading a diverse team of industry professionals
- Ability to multi-task, remain cool and keep up in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent interpersonal and communication experience, both verbal & written
- Ability to manage up, down and across in a multi-unit organization and property with various corporate partners
- Excellent organizational skills, with timely delivery of all required administrative work
- Experience with Silverware, Microsoft Office and Open table, a strong asset
