I am currently recruiting for a well-established plastic manufacturing company experiencing strong growth, looking to hire a Production Supervisor to lead and structure operations at their Laval facility. Mission

As a Production Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing daily production operations in a fast-paced, multi-line, 24/7 manufacturing environment.

n

Your main responsibilities include

n

Supervising a team of approximately 40 to 50 employees (full-time and agency workers)

n

Planning, organizing, and coordinating production activities across all shifts

n

Ensuring production targets are met in terms of quality, cost, and delivery timelines

n

Leading, coaching, and managing team performance, including disciplinary actions

n

Collaborating closely with Quality, Maintenance, and Management teams

n

Driving continuous improvement initiatives and operational efficiency

n

Managing priorities in a high-demand production workplace

n





Ensuring compliance with health & safety standards

n

Handling day-to-day operational challenges (production, staffing, quality issues)

n

Your profile Minimum 5 years of experience in a production supervisory role

n

Strong experience in a manufacturing environment (plastics industry is an asset)

n

Proven ability to manage large teams across multiple shifts

n

Hands-on, structured, and proactive leadership style

n

Strong organizational and problem-solving skills

n

Comfortable working in a fast-paced and evolving environment

n

Excellent communication and team management abilities

n

Bilingual (French/English) required

n

Experience with automated production environments is an asset

n

Working Conditions

n

Salary: $80,000 - $100,000 (to be confirmed based on experience)

n

Day shift role with responsibility over 24/7 operations

n
