We are looking for a competent Project accountant to provide our team with project accounting support.

This role will be reporting to the Finance Controller.

Responsibilities
n
- Ensure vendor invoices are entered and posted into the systems correctly and promptly.
- Resolve any vendor invoice dispute.
- Review AP aging and process the vendor payments.
- Review and post employee expenses into the system.
- Ensure daily cash deposits and receipts are entered into the system.
- Work with the project accountant to collect any outstanding AR invoices from the client.
- Review the project contract, liaise with the project stakeholders, and set up the projects in the system accurately.
- Review and process project changes and ensure they are accurately reflected in the system.
- Maintain project-related documents, including contracts, change orders, insurance certificates etc.
- Closeout project accounts promptly upon project completion.
- Prepare pre-billing reports for project managers for their review.
- Meet with the project managers and prepare the client invoices according to the project billing terms.
- Resolve any invoice disputes with the client on time.
- Prepare monthly project reporting and analysis on project KPIs (revenue, gross margin, multiplier, utilization, cash flow & backlog etc.)
- Ensure accounts receivable and work in progress are current and follow up on any overdue or outstanding amounts.
- Ensure steady cash flow by generating, auditing, and sending invoices on time.
- Ensure sub-consultants ' invoices are entered into the system and prepare monthly accrual for accurate financial reporting.

Requirements

- Bachelor's Degree in accounting, or similar.
- 2-4 years experience as a project accountant is a must.
- Experience in Deltek Vision/Vantagepoint application is preferred.
- Excellent communication skills toward effective collaboration and client services.
