Introduction
n
We are hiring a Project Manager II on behalf of our client, a global industrial engineering company. This role is responsible for leading end-to-end project execution while ensuring compliance with internal Project Quality Plan (P.Q.P.) standards focused on Prevention, Quality, and Productivity.

The Project
n
Manager II will manage technical deliverables, cross-functional teams, and client communication to deliver projects safely, on time, on specification, and within budget. Travel of approximately 40% is required.
n
Responsibilities
n
- Lead full project lifecycle from planning through close-out in alignment with internal project management systems and best practices.
- Deliver projects On Time, On Spec, and On Budget while tracking KPIs and financial performance.
- Manage project budgets and analyze estimated versus actual costs, explaining technical or financial variances.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for customers and maintain robust stakeholder relationships.
- Prepare quotations, draft proposals, and support technical and commercial discussions.
- Execute and manage change orders in compliance with contractual agreements and internal procedures.
- Develop staffing plans and identify needs for internal and external resources.
- Organize and lead project meetings including kick-offs, weekly updates, and milestone reviews.
- Review engineering calculations, drawings, piping layouts, and functional descriptions.
- Coordinate cross-departmental deliverables such as design reviews, P&IDs;, and 3D models to meet milestones.
- Collaborate with Supply Chain teams to ensure purchase order compliance and project alignment.
- Oversee fabrication, onsite installation,
and equipment installation as required.
- Facilitate acceptance testing including FAT, SAT, and system qualifications.
- Supervise start-ups and approve installation and reception protocols.
- Complete project close-out activities including handover documentation and final KPI reporting.
- Prepare and present project status reports to leadership.
- Ensure adherence to Safety, Quality, and Productivity standards.

Requirements
n
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Chemical, or Manufacturing Engineering (or equivalent experience).
- Minimum 5 years of Project Management experience or 5 years as a Process Engineer with project leadership exposure.
- Experience in food, cosmetic, or pharmaceutical processing environments is an asset.
- Strong understanding of P&IDs;, isometrics, layouts, and 3D technical drawings.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and project/data management software.
- Demonstrated leadership and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to work autonomously and manage multiple priorities.
- Strong communication, analytical, and organizational abilities.
- French required; bilingual French/English preferred.

Ce rôle est responsable de la gestion complète du cycle de vie des projets tout en assurant la conformité aux normes internes du Plan Qualité Projet (P.Q.P.) axé sur la Prévention, la Qualité et la Productivité. - Diriger l’ensemble du cycle de vie des projets, de la planification à la clôture, selon les systèmes internes de gestion de projets et les meilleures pratiques.
- Livrer les projets dans les délais, selon les spécifications et le budget, tout en suivant les indicateurs de performance (KPI).
- Gérer les budgets de projets, analyser les coûts estimés versus réels et expliquer les écarts techniques ou financiers.
