We’re looking for a detail-oriented and reliable Senior Accountant to join our team. In this role, you’ll play a key part in keeping our financial operations running smoothly, from maintaining accurate records to supporting month-end reporting and audits.

You’ll work closely with the Controller and collaborate with teams across the business, providing financial insights and ensuring everything is accurate, organized, and on time.

What you’ll be doing:

n

- Manage day-to-day accounting activities including journal entries, reconciliations, and transaction postings
- Prepare monthly financial reports, including branch-level reporting
- Complete full balance sheet reconciliations and maintain supporting working papers
- Support audits and reviews by ensuring documentation is accurate and accessible
- Partner with project teams to support their accounting and bookkeeping needs
- Maintain the fixed asset register and prepare depreciation schedules
- Assist with internal controls, policies, and procedures
- Handle statutory reporting and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements
- Help troubleshoot accounting systems and support software updates as needed




- Jump in and support the broader finance team during busy periods

What we’re looking for:

n

- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- CPA designation (or in progress) is an asset
- 5+ years of hands-on accounting experience
- Strong understanding of accounting systems (QuickBooks, NetSuite, etc.)
- Advanced Excel skills and overall solid technical abilities
- Someone who is highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities
- A strong communicator who can work cross-functionally with different teams
- Problem-solver mindset with the ability to think critically and take initiative
