Your Opportunity!

Reporting to the Manager, Corporate Accounting and Finance, Lankin Investments is looking for a Senior Financial Analyst. The individual will be responsible for processing the full cycle accounting duties for the companies’ asset management and holding entities. In this role you will also provide backup support where needed for the accounting team. This role is an excellent prospect for an accounting professional to gain exposure to a set of diverse aspects of a business and work with team members who are process improvement driven and excel in their specialties.

The successful candidate is in pursuit of their CPA designation and brings experience with month end closing processes. This individual demonstrates a strong growth mindset and intellectual curiosity, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and effectively manages competing priorities and deadlines across multiple stakeholders. They operate with a high degree of accuracy and discipline, are process-driven,



and take full ownership of deliverables.

A solid technical foundation in accounting is essential.

n

Key Accountability and Responsibilities:

n

- Manage all aspects of corporate accounting responsibilities to ensure accuracy and compliance.
- Execute full-cycle monthly accounting and forecasting for corporate entities, ensuring timely close, variance analysis for management reporting purposes.
- Reconcile bank statements and conduct other balance sheet reconciliations.
- Own the revenue cycle for recurring and transaction related revenue for asset management entities to ensure stakeholders have access to real-time data to drive business decisions.
- Assist with financial statements and quarterly executive reporting package.
- Prepare inter-company billings and reconciliations.
- Review processes and procedures to drive improvements and establish permanent SOPs.

What are we looking for in a successful candidate?

n

- Undergraduate degree in accounting, finance, or other relevant technical discipline.
- CPA or in pursuit of a CPA designation.
- Minimum 3-5 years in corporate accounting experience required, ideally within owner-managed, founder-led, entrepreneurial organizations, and asset management companies.
- Experience in the real estate/asset management industry, private equity, or public accounting is an asset.




- Genuinely curious with a desire to understand key metrics and drivers.
- High attention to detail with a strong accounting foundation, applied in the preparation and review of quarterly executive reporting packages, ensuring accuracy and consistency.
- Strong Excel skills and the ability to pick up new technology quickly.
- Strong customer focus with excellent relationship building and a collaborative working style.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, including the ability to communicate effectively with all levels of the organization.
- Ability to handle competing deliverables with accurate/timely delivery under tight timelines.
- Experience with Yardi or other real estate centric ERP is an asset.
