JOB DESCRIPTION

Insight Global is seeking a Senior Quality Specialist to join a top aerospace company in Longueuil, QC. This role is 5x week onsite.

n

The Sr Quality Specialist will support day-to-day quality operations within a manufacturing environment. This role is heavily shop-floor focused and centers on investigating part non-conformities, identifying root causes, and driving quality improvements directly in production.

Key Responsibilities

n

Shop Floor & Quality Improvement (80%)

n

- Investigate non-conformities on manufactured parts directly on the shop floor

n

= Analyze defects such as colour changes, surface marks, and material-related issues

n

- Perform hands-on investigations to identify root causes and corrective actions
- Work closely with production teams to improve overall quality performance and quality signature
- Apply structured problem-solving methodologies (RCCA, AD, DIVE) to resolve issues

Reporting & Documentation (20%)

n





- Prepare investigation summaries, quality reports, and supporting documentation
- Present findings and recommendations using MS Office tools, including PowerPoint
- Maintain accurate records of non-conformities and corrective actions

REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

n
- At least 10+ years of experience working in a manufacturing workplace (direct shop-floor experience preferred)
- Technical or engineering education background
- Experience investigating part non-conformities and production quality issues
- Familiarity with problem-solving tools such as RCCA, AD, and DIVE
- Proficiency in MS Office, particularly Word, Excel, and PowerPoint

NICE TO HAVE SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

- Prior aerospace experience
- Prior experience working with steel parts or steel-related manufacturing processes
