Our client, a Top 5 Canadian Bank, is seeking an Analyst, Trade Support (Swaps) for a 12-month contract. This is a technical role providing daily support to the trading desk while helping improve and automate processes.

Location: Hybrid (2 days/week in office) Downtown,Toronto
n
Key Responsibilities:
n
- Support daily trade activity across equity, fixed income, and interest rate swaps (equity swaps preferred)
- Reconcile and validate trades; manage allocations and execution
- Provide real-time support to traders on the swaps book
- Build and enhance automation tools using Excel, VBA, and Python
- Troubleshoot and improve existing processes
n
Qualifications:
n
- 2–7 years in capital markets operations (trade support, product control, etc.)
- Solid swaps knowledge (equity swaps preferred)
- Technical skills: VBA and Python required; Power Automate is a plus
- Advanced Excel skills (VLOOKUPs, Pivot Tables)
- Strong communication skills and comfortable working with front office teams
