Role Description The SAP Basis Support Analyst will be responsible for end‑to‑end administration and support of SAP HANA, S/4HANA, Fiori, and related SAP components in hybrid (on‑prem/cloud) environments.
n
Key Responsibilities
n
HANA Administration
n
Perform HANA database installations, upgrades, and revision upgrades.
n
Manage and support HANA Disaster Recovery (DR) setup, ongoing maintenance, and failover testing.
n
Conduct daily HANA operations including backup monitoring, troubleshooting, and performance tuning.
n
Perform start/stop operations in standalone, HA, and DR environments.
n
Troubleshoot performance issues, collect logs/traces, and perform root-cause analysis.
n
Execute system refreshes across standalone, HA, and DR landscapes.
n
Monitor and resolve issues using HANA Cockpit and DB Alerts.
n
S/4HANA & Fiori
n
Perform S/4HANA and Fiori upgrades.
n
Troubleshoot Fiori tile issues and backend S/4 integration problems.
n
Support SSO setup and troubleshooting (preferred).
n
Basis Administration
n
Support High Availability (HA) configurations for application servers.
n
Troubleshoot SAP GUI issues, performance problems, and system behavior.
n
Solution Manager & Monitoring
n
Configure and manage SAP Solution Manager including:
n
Technical Monitoring
n
EWA setup
n
End-user monitoring
n
Configure Wily/Introscope Diagnostics and maintain satellite system connectivity.
n
Landscape Connectivity & Maintenance
n
Renew router certificates and maintain system connectivity.
n
Troubleshoot remote connection issues across the SAP landscape.
n
Upgrade & Migration Tools
n
Use SUM, DMO, and SWPM for system upgrades, migrations, and provisioning activities.
n
Essential Skills
n
HANA installation, upgrades, revision upgrades

DR setup, maintenance, and support

HANA backup management, monitoring, and troubleshooting

System refresh expertise (standalone, HA, DR)
