Construction Coordinator (E&I;) – Owner’s Representative (Edmonton Area) Location: Edmonton, Alberta – Onsite Assignment: Long-term, 2+ years, starting April 2026 Shifts: Day & Night shifts available Compliance: 5-Panel Drug Test, Breath Alcohol Test, Driver Abstract & Residence Verification required. Are you an experienced E&I; leader passionate about field execution on large, complex industrial projects? We are currently hiring a Construction Coordinator (Electrical & Instrumentation) to represent the owner’s interests at a major site in the Edmonton region, overseeing activities from construction through commissioning and final handover.

- Coordinate all E&I; construction and commissioning activities on behalf of the owner
- Interface with EPCs, subcontractors, vendors, commissioning, and operations teams
- Maintain compliance with drawings, specifications, QA/QC, and project schedules
- Support construction sequencing, constraint management, and structured workface planning (AWP)
- Participate in pre-commissioning, commissioning, punch list and system readiness
- Redline drawings and proactively resolve field deficiencies
- Champion safety, quality, and compliance at every phase
- Mentor and support junior team members Required Experience & Qualifications:




- Minimum 15 years of hands-on E&I; experience (Journeyman/Technician, Foreman/Lead, Coordinator roles)
- Substantial experience in owner-side or owner’s representative positions
- Background on major projects ($50MM+), ideally in heavy industry, energy, or infrastructure
- Expertise in:
- Electrical power distribution (LV, MV, HV)
- Instrumentation & controls, DCS/SIS, loop checks, C&E; testing
- Substations, EHT, temporary power, and shutdowns/turnarounds
- Proven ability to coordinate across engineering, construction, commissioning, and operations
- Outstanding leadership in safety, with QA/QC and regulatory compliance knowledge
- Proficient in AWP or workface planning, construction sequencing, and schedule integration
- Strong communicator and field leader, able to drive performance across multiple teams
- Trade certification (Red Seal Electrician or Instrumentation), or equivalent, strongly preferred Use AI for Hiring: NO Why Kelly?
