Equip. is seeking a full time Back Barn Service and Installation Technician to work out of our Strathroy ON location. What We Offer - Competitive hourly wage - Canada Life Benefits - RSP matching program - Flexible work schedule - Family-oriented culture - Opportunities for growth and training What You Will Do - As an in-barn Service and Installation Technician, you will install, align, dismantle, and move stationary industrial machinery and mechanical equipment according to layout plans using hand and power tools - Test, inspect and examine machinery and equipment; adjust, repair, and replace defective parts as necessary in a timely, well-organized fashion - Maintain machinery, service motors, gearboxes, PLC, frequency drives, hydraulics, pneumatics, scale repairs, feed systems - Provide customer support and recommendations to farmers; effectively manage and communicate any concerns, problems, or complaints - Provide comprehensive training to customers on the operation of newly installed equipment.

- Provide customer training on maintenance,



adjustments and repairs of newly installed equipment Job Requirements and Working Conditions - Able to lift heavy objects - Work in small or tight spaces - Able to work at heights - Not afraid to get dirty - Work as member of a crew, alongside farmers/customers, and/or alone - Must be able to work in all weather, indoors and outdoors.
- Standing for long periods - Must be willing to work evenings and weekends if needed.

What You Bring Experience

n
- Previous dairy, poultry and hog in-barn equipment experience preferred;

n

experience or knowledge in electronics and mechanics - Preference will be given to applicants with strong history of millwrighting experience - Experience with the proper handling of power and hand tools - Ability to read blueprints, diagrams, and schematic drawings - Availability to work on call hours (evenings/weekends) - Farming or agriculture background an asset Education:
