Salary: $80,000 - $100,000 CAD

Medinet is looking for an AI-Enabled Developer who enjoys building real solutions, working with modern tools, and translating clear business requirements into practical, working applications that support healthcare providers across British Columbia.

This role is hands-on and focused on applied AI in a development context. You’ll work with structured business architecture, service models, and requirements to rapidly prototype and build solutions using AI-assisted development tools.

We are particularly interested in developers who are already using AI tools in their day-to-day work and are excited about new ways of building software.

You’ll collaborate closely with our team to iterate quickly, refine solutions, and deliver practical systems that solve real operational problems.

What you’ll do· Build and prototype applications based on:

n

o Business architecture, service models, and process flows o Structured requirements and specifications

n

· Use AI-assisted development tools to:

n

o Generate and refine code o Accelerate development and iteration o Explore and validate solution approaches

n

· Collaborate with the team to:

n

o Translate business needs into working solutions o Iterate quickly based on feedback o Deliver practical, usable applications

n

· Support the evolution of:

n

o A more modern, scalable application stack o AI-enabled development practices and workflows

n

· Move solutions from prototype into:

n

o Stable, production-ready applications

n





What you bring· 2 to 5 years of software development experience

n

· Demonstrated experience using AI tools in development workflows (for example, Claude, OpenAI, GitHub Copilot, Cursor or similar)

n

· Ability to move quickly from concept to working solution

n

· Comfort working from structured business requirements and architecture

n

· Demonstrated, hands-on experience using AI tools in development workflows (for example, Claude, OpenAI, GitHub Copilot, Cursor or similar

n

· Ability to work independently and stay organized

n

· Strong communication and collaboration skills

n

· Curious, practical problem-solver mindset

n

Assets· Experience building internal tools or workflow-based applications

n

· Experience with AI-assisted or spec-driven development approaches

n

·�� Experience working in fast-moving or evolving environments

n

· Healthcare or public-sector experience (helpful, not required)
