Executive – Construction (Ontario) Company: SolidCAD, a Symetri Company Territory: Ontario Location: Remote / Hybrid (Canada-based) Reports to: Sales Manager, Construction Type: Full-time The Chance We are seeking an Account Executive – Construction (Ontario) to drive strategic growth across one of Canada’s most dynamic construction markets. This role is designed for a consultative, enterprise-oriented sales professional who excels in navigating complex stakeholder environments, leading value-based conversations, and delivering integrated solutions across software, services, and advisory.
You will play a critical role in expanding existing strategic accounts while capturing new logo opportunities, acting as a trusted advisor to construction leaders undergoing digital transformation.

What You’ll Do Strategic Account Growth & Client Leadership - Develop and execute a territory strategy for Ontario, with a strong focus on key construction segments and high-value accounts.

- Build and maintain executive-level relationships across construction firms, from operations to C-suite.
- Lead deep discovery engagements to uncover business drivers, operational inefficiencies, and transformation priorities.
- Position end-to-end solutions (software, consulting, implementation, and training) aligned to measurable business outcomes.
- Expand and retain a portfolio of strategic accounts while driving targeted new logo acquisition.

Enterprise Sales

Execution - Own and drive the full sales lifecycle: pipeline generation, qualification, discovery, solution design, proposal development, negotiation, and close.

- Lead complex, multi-threaded deals involving technical, operational, and financial stakeholders.
- Partner with Professional Services and Customer Success teams to scope and deliver high-value engagements.
- Maintain accurate pipeline visibility, forecasting, and account planning within Salesforce.
- Consistently meet or exceed revenue targets and key performance metrics.

Development & Thought Leadership - Represent the organization at industry events, executive briefings, and webinars.

- Contribute to market positioning and go-to-market initiatives within Ontario.
- Act as a voice of the customer, influencing internal strategy and offerings.

Who You Are You are a strategic, outcome-driven sales professional who thrives in complex environments and values long-term client partnerships over transactional wins. You bring strong business acumen and the ability to translate technology into tangible operational and financial impact.

Qualifications & Experience - 5–10+ years of B2B sales experience in AECO (Architecture, Engineering, Construction, Owners & Operators), SaaS, or professional services.
n
- Demonstrated success managing complex sales cycles and enterprise-level deals.
- Strong expertise in value-based selling methodologies (e.g., MEDDICC, Challenger, SPIN).
- Experience engaging multi-level stakeholders, including executive leadership.
- Familiarity with AECO technologies (e.g., Autodesk, Bluebeam, or similar ecosystems) is an asset.
- Proficiency with CRM tools (Salesforce preferred) and disciplined pipeline management.
- Exceptional communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills. Nice to Have - Direct experience within a construction environment (General Contractor, Specialty Contractor, or Owner).
- Background in Construction, Engineering, Business, or related fields.
