Job Overview:

Protexxa is seeking an experienced Financial Controller with 8+ years of experience in financial reporting, budget management and financial operations. Reporting to the Chief Executive Officer, this role is pivotal in ensuring the financial integrity and effectiveness of the company, supporting strategic decision-making, and maintaining compliance with financial regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

- Overseeing Financial Operations: You'll manage daily financial activities, including accounts payable and receivable, general ledger, month-end accruals, and payroll reconciliation. Inter-company Reconciliation and Transfer Pricing: You'll oversee the reconciliation of inter-company accounts, manage transfer pricing entries, and consolidate financial results.
- Financial Reporting: Preparing and presenting consolidated financial reports monthly, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements, is a key responsibility.
- Budget Management:



Managing the annual budget process and providing monthly budget variance analysis to senior management helps in strategic decision-making and financial planning.
- Cost Allocation: Properly allocating Costs to Serve to each revenue category is important for accurate financial analysis and reporting.
- Unit Economic Analysis: Providing unit economic analysis for top customers helps understand profitability, informing strategies to optimize pricing and increase profitability.
- Quarterly Reporting to Board and Investors: Providing quarterly financial reports to the board and investors, and completing other requests upon investors’ requests.
- GAAP Compliance and Accounting Documentation: Documenting key accounting treatments and revenue recognition processes is crucial to comply with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
- External Audit and Tax Filing Facilitation: Working with external accounting firms for the annual audit, periodic sales tax filings and annual tax returns.

Qualifications:

- 6-10 years of experience in financial reporting, budget management and financial operations, preferably in a tech or professional service environment.
- Certified Public Accountant designation is required.
- Robust understanding of compliance with financial regulations and standards like IFRS), consolidation and taxation knowledge.
- Excellent collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with executive teams, board members and investors.
- Detail-oriented with strong communication skills.
