We are seeking an experienced and highly organized Transport Manager for planning, organizing, directing, controlling, and evaluating transportation and warehousing operations.

Main Duties and Responsibilities

- Plan, organize, direct, control, and evaluate transportation operations.
- Establish transportation service rates.
- Prepare performance and operational reports for senior management.
- Coordinate shipping documentation and oversee scheduling, dispatching, and shipment tracking.
- Recruit, train, supervise, and assign staff involved in shipping, receiving, warehousing, distribution, and inventory control.
- Negotiate service agreements and preferential rates with carriers,
- Manage end-to-end logistics operations, including order processing, carrier coordination, shipment setup, pickup scheduling, dispatch, and tracking.
- Develop, manage, and control departmental budgets.
- Oversee transportation and warehousing activities, including route planning, fleet management, dispatch operations, and workforce coordination.
- Monitor departmental performance and recommend operational improvements to enhance efficiency and service levels.
- Develop and implement procedures for transportation, storage, and distribution activities.

Qualifications





- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
- Master’s degree in Management, Logistics, or Transportation is considered an asset.
- Minimum 2 years of management experience in transportation and warehousing operations.
- Proven experience supervising staff.
- Experience in the fashion or women’s apparel warehousing sector is considered an asset.
- Strong leadership, organizational, and decision-making skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced operational environment.
- Ability to lift and handle heavy objects.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Advanced computer skills.
- Valid driver’s license .
- Excellent communication skills for coordinating with staff, vendors, and clients.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).

Language Requirements

- English: Advanced (required)
- French: Intermediate (preferred)
- Spanish: Asset

Job Types: Full time, Permanent

Pay: $48.00 per hour

Expected hours: 30 per week
