Our client, an employee-owned, multidisciplinary consulting firm, is currently seeking an Intermediate/Senior Civil Engineer out of multiple office locations including Kitchener, Toronto and Ottawa. This is a permanent, full-time position, paying between 95-140k, including a comprehensive benefits and vacation package.

Position Description

n

Spearheading the preparation of detailed designs, engineering analysis, plans, specifications, contract documents, and comprehensive cost estimates, with a focus on collaborating with our diverse engineering divisions.

Position Responsibilities

n

· Lead engineering, technical, project management and administrative direction on projects.

n

· Develop, verify, and finalize technical reporting and deliverables.

n

· Lead project teams, manage resource loading, employee training and professional development initiatives.

n

· Oversee and develop budgets, cost estimates, and manage project financial considerations.

n





· Conduct research, reviews, inspections, and technical investigations.

n

· Prepare proposals and actively participate in engagement with clients, government organizations, the public and suppliers.

Qualifications

n

The ideal candidate will possess demonstrated technical skills in civil engineering design and contract administration, underscored by relevant qualifications; a degree in Civil Engineering and registration as a Skilled Engineer with P.E.O. A minimum of 7+ years' experience in the field is expected, coupled with an understanding of pertinent codes, legislation, regulations and design software.
