Overview

nWe are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Apprentice Mechanic to join our industrial maintenance team. This entry-level position offers hands-on experience in manufacturing and industrial systems, providing a foundation for a career in mechanical and electrical maintenance.n

The Apprentice

nMechanic will work closely with experienced technicians to develop skills in troubleshooting, repair, and system analysis across various equipment and machinery. Candidates should possess strong mechanical knowledge, basic electrical experience, and a willingness to learn in a fast-paced environment.n

Responsibilities

- Assist with routine maintenance and repair of manufacturing equipment, including HVAC, boilers, welding systems, and low voltage electrical components
- Read and interpret schematics, technical manuals, and system diagrams to support troubleshooting efforts
- Support the installation, calibration, and testing of programmable logic controllers (PLCs) and other automation systems
- Use Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) to document work performed and track maintenance activities
- Conduct inspections to identify potential issues before they lead to equipment failure
- Collaborate with senior technicians on projects involving electrical systems, mechanical components, and industrial systems




- Maintain a clean and protected work environment following safety protocols and procedures
- Develop skills in analysis of system performance to recommend improvements or repairs

Experience

n

- Basic understanding of industrial maintenance or manufacturing environments preferred
- Familiarity with schematics, mechanical knowledge, and electrical systems is advantageous
- Experience or coursework related to programmable logic controllers (PLCs), CMMS software, HVAC systems, welding, boilers, or low voltage electrical work is a plus
- Prior exposure to industrial electrician experience or mechanical troubleshooting is beneficial but not required
- Strong communication skills in English are necessary for effective teamwork and documentation
- Customer service orientation and analysis skills are valued for interacting with team members and supporting operational needs
