TRS Staffing Solutions has exciting opportunities for an Intermediate Planner role to work for one of Canada''s top employers and a global leader in the Engineering, Procurement, Construction Management industry.
Responsibilities: Participate in schedule optimization exercises and scenario planning.
Support the preparation of reports and presentations for internal stakeholders.
Collaborate with project teams to gather input and ensure alignment on timelines and deliverables.
Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within the planning function.
Conduct schedule reviews and identify potential delays or risks, recommending mitigation strategies.
Monitor progress and update schedules to reflect actual performance and forecast future activities.
Assist in the development and maintenance of integrated project schedules across engineering, procurement, and construction phases.
Support additional project-related tasks as needed.
Qualifications Bachelors degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field. 58 years of relevant experience in project planning, preferably within mining, infrastructure, or heavy industrial sectors.
Proficiency in scheduling software such as Primavera P6 and Microsoft Project.
Solid analytical skills and attention to detail.
Effective communication skills and ability to work with cross-functional teams.
Exposure to automated scheduling tools and reporting systems.
Ability to interpret complex project data and translate it into actionable insights.
Familiarity with EPC project environments is an asset.
