TekRek has partnered with a fully profitable eCommerce tech firm to find a Senior Backend Engineer. This company currently has more then 100 employees and is continuing to grow based on solid demand for their product.
Job Description:
In this role, you will use a modern tech stack which includes React, Python, a Python web framework (FastAPI, Django, Flask, Tornado), PostgreSQL, AWS.
You will:
Build services that help process customer orders for internal and external customers
Establish key design guidelines and patterns
Take an active role in discussing technical design and architecture discussions
Write clean code to develop functional web applications and reusable libraries
Job Requirements:
This job has some required and preferred skill sets to achieve the best results in the role.
Required:
5+ years experience of progressive engineering experience
2+ years using Python and Python web frameworks for building web applications
Robust experience working with databases, specifically PostgreSQL
Experience creating RESTful web services
You’re a self starter, and don’t mind ambiguity
