We’re partnering with a company in the mechanical systems / HVAC / hydronics space that is expanding into the Ottawa market and looking for a Technical Sales Representative to lead the region.

This role offers a blend of technical sales, business development, and market-building. This is a ground-floor opportunity to build a territory with solid support, existing accounts, and long-term growth into leadership.

What You’ll Be Doing
n
- Develop and grow the Ottawa territory
- Build relationships with engineering firms, consultants, and mechanical contractors
- Drive new business development while managing existing accounts
- Support specification-driven sales cycles (design → approval → PO → project execution)
- Manage a pipeline of project-based opportunities ($50K–$100K range)
- Represent the company in client meetings, site visits, and industry events

What We’re Looking For
n
- 3–5 years of experience in:
- HVAC / hydronics / mechanical systems
- Technical or project-based sales
- Strong network within the Ottawa engineering community
- Mechanical Engineering background (preferred)
- Proven ability to manage long sales cycles
- A true hunter mindset with ability to build a territory from scratch

Compensation
n
- Base Salary: $120,000 – $150,000
- Commission (revenue-driven)
- Bonus potential: $20K–$30K
- Car allowance (flexible)
- Benefits + potential RSP match (in progress)
