What You’ll Do

The Manager, Paid Social is head of the Paid Social department for Canadian Tire’s In-House Digital Media agency (CTDi). They are responsible for leading paid social strategy, performance, and execution across platforms to deliver measurable business outcomes. This role owns the paid social operating model end‑to‑end, including strategy, activation, optimization, reporting, and platform readiness, while ensuring strong cross‑functional and agency collaboration.. Acting as the senior subject‑matter expert, this role provides clear, insight‑led communication to stakeholders and ensures paid social remains resilient, innovative, and accountable to performance targets.

Own and operationalize the Paid Social operating model across strategy, activation, optimization, and reporting

Ensure Paid Social workflows, SOPs, and RACIs are documented, socialized, and consistently followed

Lead end‑to‑end Paid Social performance across priority campaigns, ensuring efficiency and effectiveness targets are met

Drive disciplined optimization, testing, and learning agendas across all Paid Social platforms

Guide the evolution of audience strategies, signals, and measurement approaches in response to platform and privacy changes

Clearly articulate performance drivers, risks, and insights to internal stakeholders and leadership

Act as the primary owner of Paid Social platform and vendor relationships, including regular platform check‑ins

Translate platform roadmaps, updates, and POVs into actionable planning and in‑market decisions

Proactively anticipate and manage platform, policy, and signal changes to minimize performance disruption

Foster a test‑and‑learn culture that balances innovation with accountability and operational rigor

Lead, coach, and develop a high‑performing Paid Social team with clear ownership and expectations

Partner cross‑functionally with marketing, analytics, and agency teams to align priorities and execution

Resolve escalations and executional issues, representing Paid Social perspectives in cross‑functional forums





What You Bring

8+ years of digital media experience with deep Paid Social expertise

Strong experience across major Paid Social platforms (e.g., Meta, TikTok, Snap, Pinterest, Reddit)

Proven people leadership, stakeholder management, and performance storytelling skills

Ability to operate effectively in a complex, cross‑functional organization

Strong understanding of media buying, measurement, and reporting

Strong experience in analytics platforms, specifically GA360

Our typical hiring range is between $79,000.00 and $131,000.00 per annum. Salary decisions are also dependent on other factors such as your experience, job-related knowledge, skills and competencies, market location, industry benchmarks, internal equity and other role-specific requirements.
