Overview
We are seeking a skilled and personable Nail Technician to join our beauty team. The ideal candidate will provide exceptional nail care services, create a relaxing environment for clients, and contribute to the overall success of our salon. This role offers an opportunity to showcase your expertise in nail artistry while delivering outstanding customer service in a qualified setting.
Duties
- Perform a variety of nail services including manicures, pedicures, gel nails, acrylics, and nail art with precision and creativity
- Maintain high standards of sanitation and sterilization to ensure client safety and hygiene compliance
- Offer body waxing services as part of the salon’s service menu
- Engage with clients to understand their preferences and recommend suitable nail treatments or retail products
- Upsell additional services and retail items to enhance client satisfaction and salon revenue
- Provide excellent customer service by creating a welcoming and relaxing atmosphere
- Keep workstations clean, organized, and well-stocked with supplies at all times
- Stay updated on the latest nail trends, techniques,
and products through ongoing education
Qualifications
- Valid state license as a Nail Technician or Cosmetologist with nail specialty certification
- Proven experience in nail care, including gel, acrylics, and intricate nail art
- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with clients and team members
- Knowledge of sanitation standards and best practices for hygiene and safety
- Ability to perform body waxing services is preferred but not required
- Excellent customer service skills with a friendly and professional demeanor
- Retail sales experience or aptitude for upselling products is a plus
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
