Position Summary

Shore Cycle & Marine has been powering Nova Scotia’s South Shore for over 40 years serving motorsports and marine customers throughout the province and beyond. To meet our steadily increasing customer demands, we are operating from our new 40,000 square foot facility outside beautiful Mahone Bay. With that growth we need to build our team of industry professionals we're looking for team players who love the industry as much as they love living the shore life here in Nova Scotia.

The Customer Service Associate is the first point of contact for customers, ensuring a welcoming, organized, and professional environment while supporting Sales, Service, and Parts. This role is key to delivering an excellent customer experience in a fast-paced setting.

Key Responsibilities

- Greet customers and manage incoming calls, directing them appropriately
- Maintain a clean and organized reception
- Provide information about boats, motorsports units, parts, and services
- Support sales team with walk-ins, customer flow, and follow-up calls
- Handle basic customer concerns, escalating when necessary
- Assist with filing, scanning, and general administrative duties
- Occasionally support the business office

Qualifications & Skills





- Previous customer service or receptionist experience (dealership experience a plus)
- Strong communication, phone etiquette, and interpersonal skills
- Professional appearance and demeanor
- Organized, detail-oriented, and able to multitask
- Basic computer skills; familiarity with Lightspeed DMS an asset
- Reliable, punctual, and team-oriented

Working Conditions

- Full-time, fast-paced environment
- Combination of sitting, standing, and moving throughout showroom
- Exposure to marine and motorsports environment (noise, equipment)

Assets

- Interest or experience in boating & motorsports
- Service or Parts department experience

Pay: $18.00-$20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40.0 per week
