We are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Pharmacist to join our specialized renal pharmacy and retail store in Vancouver. This unique hybrid role involves working across both renal and retail pharmacy operations, ensuring continuity of care and consistent, high-quality service to our patients. Primary Responsibilities
- Provide professional, compassionate patient counseling to support safe medication use.
- Safely and accurately prepare, verify, and dispense prescriptions in accordance with regulatory standards.
- Manage all aspects of dispensary operations, including prescription entry, processing, and verification.
- Collaborate with healthcare providers to optimize medication therapy for patients with complex needs.
- Maintain pharmacy compliance with internal policies and regulatory requirements.
- Deliver exceptional customer service and build strong relationships with patients.
- Participate in continuous quality improvement and contribute to a collaborative team culture.
- Perform other duties as assigned by management.
Qualifications
- Licensed and in good standing with the College of Pharmacists of British Columbia.
- Previous experience in retail pharmacy is highly desirable.
- Experience in renal pharmacy or managing complex disease states is an asset.
- Experience with compounding is preferred.
- Strong understanding of pharmacy operations and regulatory compliance.
- Proficient with pharmacy software systems and general computer applications.
- Excellent organizational, communication, and multitasking skills.
- Able to work independently in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
