Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Kitchen Leader to oversee daily kitchen operations, ensure exceptional food quality, and lead our culinary team. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, extensive food industry experience, and a passion for delivering outstanding customer service. This role offers an exciting opportunity to manage a vibrant kitchen environment within a hospitality or restaurant setting, ensuring compliance with food safety standards and fostering a positive team atmosphere.

Responsibilities

- Supervise and coordinate all kitchen activities, including food preparation, cooking, and presentation to meet quality standards.
- Lead, motivate, and manage kitchen staff, including interviewing and onboarding new team members.
- Oversee food handling procedures to ensure safety and compliance with food safety regulations.
- Manage inventory levels, order supplies, and ensure proper storage of ingredients and equipment.
- Operate POS systems such as Micros POS for order processing and cash handling accurately.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area in accordance with health codes.
- Train staff on food safety protocols, proper food handling, and effective service techniques.
- Collaborate with restaurant management to develop menus, improve service flow, and enhance customer satisfaction.




- Handle customer inquiries or complaints professionally to uphold excellent service standards.
- Assist in serving customers during busy periods when necessary.

Requirements

- Proven experience in food preparation, cooking, and food service operations within a restaurant or hospitality environment.
- Supervising experience with demonstrated leadership in a fast-paced setting.
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Micros POS; cash handling experience is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures.
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to manage team dynamics effectively.
- Previous restaurant management or hospitality experience is highly desirable; hotel or barista experience is a plus.
- Ability to work under pressure while maintaining attention to detail and quality standards.
- Leadership qualities including team management, interviewing skills, and the ability to motivate staff. This position is integral to delivering an exceptional dining experience by leading our culinary team with professionalism and expertise. Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent

Pay: $17.85-$28.51 per hour
