Overview
We are seeking a friendly and efficient Server and/or Bartender to join our vibrant hospitality team. The ideal candidate will possess strong customer service skills, a solid understanding of food and beverage service, and experience working in a fast-paced restaurant environment. This role offers an opportunity to create memorable experiences for guests while showcasing your skills in serving, cash handling, and food safety. A background in hospitality and familiarity with POS systems such as PIXEL POINTE/MICROS POS is preferred. The position is integral to maintaining a welcoming atmosphere and ensuring smooth operations at our establishment.
Duties
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to standard recipes and customer preferences
- Cocktail & Wine Knowledge is an ASSET
- Take orders accurately using POS systems like Micros POS, process payments, and handle cash or card transactions with precision
- Performing with top-quality service in a high-volume restaurant
- Provide exceptional customer service by engaging with guests, answering questions about menu items, and ensuring their satisfaction
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including glassware, utensils, and bar equipment
- Ensure compliance with food safety standards and responsible alcohol service policies
- Restock server/bar supplies as needed to ensure effective service during shifts
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to coordinate serving food and beverages seamlessly
- Manage multiple tables or bar stations efficiently through effective time management skills
- Ability to network and build your own regular base is a MUST
Requirements
- At least 1 year experience in food service or restaurant environments
- Knowledge of POS systems such as PIXEL POINTE POS or similar platforms
- Strong customer service skills with a friendly, approachable demeanor
- Ability to handle cash transactions accurately and perform basic math calculations for billing purposes
- Familiarity with food safety regulations and proper food handling procedures
- Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks during busy hours
- Ability to serve alcohol responsibly following all legal guidelines and company policies
- Moderate knowledge of the food industry and hospitality standards
- Must be available Friday and Saturday Evenings
