WE OFFER

- 40 Hours per week + Opportunity for Overtime.
- A generous benefits package after 9 months of continuous employment which includes health, vision and dental coverage.
- Wage increases after 12 and 24 months of continuous employment
- Wage rate after 24 months $35.50 - $36.50 per hour

ABOUT THE ROLE

This position requires individuals to work as part of a team, operate in a unionized, heavy industrial environment, and handle multiple tasks while adhering to specific safety standards.



The successful candidate should have valuable attention to detail regarding customer specifications, have the willingness to learn and improve on the job.

RESPONSIBILITIES

- Operate various heavy machines to manufacture, transport and assemble products.
- Work within various departments while adhering to safety procedures and guidelines developed by the company.
- Ability to read and understand work instructions and adjust controls on all machines as required for varying needs of production.
- Clearly communicate to the foreman/supervisor regarding quality, quantity or safety issues that arise during the job.
- Feed raw materials into semi-automated machines and visually inspect material produced for distinct quality issues.
- Ability to troubleshoot machine problems to determine actual faults.
- Use precise measurement equipment to inspect material quality and order specification.
- Ability to stand for extended periods of time and demonstrate quick response time to unexpected occurrences.

QUALIFICATIONS

- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous manufacturing experience would be an asset.

Pay: From $26.00 per hour
