Responsibilities

- Manage daily bakery operations, including inventory control, ordering, and product presentation to maximize sales and minimize waste
- Lead, motivate, and supervise bakery staff to ensure excellent customer service and adherence to safety standards
- Oversee employee orientation, training & development programs to enhance team skills and performance
- Coordinate with suppliers for purchasing ingredients and bakery supplies, ensuring timely delivery and cost-effective purchasing decisions
- Implement merchandising strategies to promote bakery products effectively and optimize store layout for customer engagement
- Monitor sales performance, manage pricing strategies, and boost sales

Qualifications

n

- Proven management experience in retail or food service environments,



with a focus on bakery or similar food operations
- Strong leadership skills with experience in supervising teams and managing shift operations
- Excellent communication skills; bilingual or multilingual abilities are a plus for serving diverse customer bases
- Proficiency in inventory management systems
- Knowledge of budgeting, purchasing, merchandising, and store management principles
- Demonstrated ability in employee interviewing, training & development to build high-performing teams
- Organizational skills with attention to detail in bookkeeping, payroll processing, and inventory control
- Customer service-oriented mindset with experience in retail sales and store management
- Food Safe certificate required
