HOURLY RATE - $18.71
n
FULL/PART-TIME HOURS:
n
- Seasonal (June 21 to September 4)n
- Part Time - 2-3 shifts per week
n
- Full Time - 4-5 shifts per week (work at least 7 out of 9 weeks)

WHAT WILL I BE DOING?
n
As a Kids at Blue Camp Counsellor, you’ll be the energy, excitement, and friendly face behind an unforgettable summer for campers aged 4-16. Your mission? Create a vibrant, adventurous, and safe resort-style experience packed with outdoor thrills like swimming, kayaking, climbing walls, ropes courses, golf putting course, and hiking - all while keeping the fun flowing from morning to afternoon!

- Greeting every child and family with enthusiasm, big smiles, and genuine Blue Mountain hospitality. Our camp motto: Be safe, be kind and have fun.n
- Team up with fellow counselors to dream up and lead creative indoor activities - from arts & crafts masterpieces to team challenges and super-fun interactive games.
n
- Guiding and supervising kids through all camp experiences - including water fun like kayaking - ensuring safety, engagement, and lots of laughter along the way.
n
- Starting each day and activity with clear, upbeat safety chats so kids feel informed, empowered, and ready to explore.
n
- Maintaining a clean, organized, and adventure-ready space - setting up gear, tidying up supplies, and keeping materials in top shape for each day of camp fun.

WHAT DO WE NEED FROM YOU?
n
- At least 16 years of agen
- Current Standard First Aid & CPR certification required
- A genuine enjoyment of working with children and having fun at work!
n
- Knowledge of BMR resort and activities an asset
n
- Must be able to work outside in all weather conditions.
n
- Physically fit and able to lift up to 50lbs.
n
- Successful applicants (18yrs of age or older) will be required to complete a Criminal Background Check (Vulnerable Sector Search)
n
