The Human Resources Generalist will be responsible for day-to-day Human Resources activities.
n
This job posting is intended to fill a 16-month HR Generalist Contract in Well.ca’s Human Resources department.
n
Work Schedule: Monday-Friday
n
Working Location: Guelph, ON In Office Expectation: 1 day weekly or as requested by management
n
Starting Salary Range: $50,000-$55,000 annually - Actual Compensation within the pay range listed will be decided based on factors including, but not limited to, skills, prior relevant experience, and specific work location.
n
Anticipated Start Date: As soon as possible
n
Responsibilities:
n
- Provide support and guidance to management on company policies, performance management, employee relations
- Full cycle recruitment, including creating job postings, screening resumes, scheduling interviews, conducting references checks, and issuing offer letters
- Manage and monitor performance related issues
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records
- Produce various reports weekly and monthly
- Conduct investigations and ensure appropriate resolutions
- Process and conduct terminations and resignations
- Help foster and maintain positive, inclusive and engaging employee experience
- Main point of contact for client group; managing employee relations, attendance management, assisting with policy interpretation
- Provide assistance and advice to employees regarding the interpretation and administration of HR policies and procedures
- Participating in and co-manage employee engagement committee
- Maintain employee files on ADP and Iron Mountain
- Active member of the Health & Safety programs and committee
- Assist in the administration of the annual performance review process
- Flexible hours as required to support different shifts, must be available to occasionally support overnight team
- Lead in developing and implementing HR initiatives and programs
- Assist HR team with all other duties as assigned

Qualifications:
n
- Post-secondary education in Human Resources Management or related
- CHRP designation preferred
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office
- 2-3 years of related experience
- Experience with HRIS is required
- Ability to develop and maintain working relationships with all levels of employees
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to commute to Guelph, ON required
