Overview

nWe are seeking a dedicated Laundry Attendant to join our hospitality team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and proper handling of linens, towels, and other laundry items to ensure a high standard of hygiene and presentation. Previous hotel experience and familiarity with laundry procedures are preferred. This role offers an opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment where attention to detail and efficiency are essential.n

Duties

- Operate commercial laundry equipment such as washers, dryers, and folding machines efficiently and safely
- Sort, load, and unload laundry items according to established procedures
- Ensure all linens and towels are cleaned, pressed, and folded to meet quality standards
- Maintain cleanliness of the laundry area by regularly sanitizing work surfaces and equipment
- Assist with inventory management by tracking linen supplies and notifying management when stock is low
- Follow safety protocols related to chemical handling and equipment operation
- Support cleaning duties around the hotel as needed to maintain overall cleanliness standards

Requirements

- Prior experience in hotel laundry services or similar environment is highly desirable
- Knowledge of laundry procedures, cleaning techniques, and equipment operation
- Ability to work efficiently in a rapid-paced setting while maintaining attention to detail
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively
- Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and lift moderate loads
- Basic understanding of safety practices related to cleaning chemicals and machinery
- Reliable attendance and a positive attitude towards teamwork

Pay: $18.00-$20.00 per hour
