Position Summary

nWage pending experience The Chef is responsible for overseeing daily kitchen operations, ensuring the preparation of high-quality meals, and maintaining a safe and clean kitchen environment. This role involves ensuring that all dishes meet the restaurant's standards of excellence and adding to the excellence.n

Key Responsibilities

- Food Preparation: Prepare and cook high-quality dishes according to recipes, ensuring consistency in taste, presentation, and portion sizes.
- Quality Control: Ensure that all food served meets the restaurant's standards for taste, quality, and presentation. Address any issues related to food quality promptly.
- Health and Safety Compliance: Maintain a clean and organized kitchen, adhering to all health and safety regulations. Ensure that kitchen equipment is properly maintained and sanitized.
- Collaboration: Work closely with the Restaurant Manager, and other kitchen staff to ensure smooth and efficient kitchen operations.
- Problem Solving: Address any kitchen-related issues, including equipment malfunctions, staffing challenges, or supply shortages, in a timely and effective manner.

Qualifications

n
- Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in a professional kitchen.
- Skills: Strong culinary skills,



with expertise in a variety of cooking techniques and cuisines. Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
- Certifications: Food Safety Certification required.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to stand for long periods, lift heavy objects (up to 50 lbs), and work in a fast-paced environment.

Working Conditions

- Schedule: Full-time or Part time position with varying shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Environment: Fast-paced kitchen environment with exposure to heat, cold.

- Competitive hourly wage and Tips.
