The salary range for this role is $86,320.00 to $129,480.00. Base salaries are determined during our interview process, by assessing a candidate’s experience, skills against internal peers and against the scope and responsibilities of the position.

n

This opportunity is a 6 months contract position, with an estimated end date of October 2026. Please note that contract roles do not include additional monetary benefits or health care coverage.

n

Position Summary:

nThe scope of this position is to lead and manage day-to-day grain procurement and distillery by-product sales activities associated with the distilleries in North America. The role supports the procurement team by executing sourcing and trading strategies, maintaining supplier and broker relationships, and ensuring secure, cost-effective supply and revenue generation aligned with company Commodity Policy and Procedures.n

The procurement scope includes developing and implementing procurement best practices through strong supplier relationship management,



delivering competitive total cost, applying sound risk management tactics, driving continuous improvement in material quality and supply chain performance, identifying savings opportunities, and supporting budget and spend management for assigned categories.

This position is responsible for executing commodity price risk management activities, in line with the company’s Commodity Policy and Procedures. The role is also responsible for managing the sale and marketing of distillery by-products.

n

The development of key internal and external customer relationships is an integral function of this position.

n

Key Responsibilities:

n

- Foster the complete engagement of the Commodity Consensus Team via meetings, market condition updates, secured and open position summaries, spot market activity, and other means of communication to keep all stakeholders well informed of commodity activity.
- Manage commodity financial risk as compared to agreed objectives via development and execution of strategically timed acquisition plans.
- Partner with internal stakeholders (Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Finance, Quality) to translate production plans into procurement and logistics execution plans.
- Manage supplier and broker relationships, including performance monitoring, issue resolution, and contract compliance.
- Manage the distillery by-products by coordinating sales, customer relationships, and pickups in a way that minimizes disruption to operations.
- Provide market intelligence and recommendations through regular reporting on market fundamentals, basis, and local supply chain dynamics.
