The Opportunity

nNorthern Health is seeking a Nurse Practitioner to join the team at the Mackenzie & District Hospital and Primary Care Clinic. This full-time position offers the chance to provide longitudinal primary care to patients of all ages in a supportive, team-based environment. The NP will work alongside family physicians and an integrated interprofessional team to deliver high-quality, culturally safe care.n

Key Responsibilities

- Provide longitudinal primary care to a diverse patient population across the lifespan.
n
- Attach patients per the Provincial Attachment System (PAS) guidelines.
n
- Use Electronic Medical Record (EMR)s for documentation and clinical workflows.
n
- Collaborate with family physicians and an interprofessional team to support patient care.
n
- Participate in team-based care and contribute to quality improvement initiatives
n

Qualifications & Skills

nn
- Eligible for registration with the BC College of Nurses and Midwives as a Nurse Practitioner.
n
- Strong background in primary care.
n
- Excellent clinical assessment and decision-making skills.
n
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
n
- Commitment to culturally safe and trauma-informed care.

Salary Range

- New Graduate NP - $149,382

- 1 Year Experience - $156,851

- 2 Years Experience - $164,320
