nAt Okie Dokie, we focus on sausages and BBQ. We are seeking a dedicated and passionate individual to join our team. The ideal candidate will assist in food preparation, as well as execute a small quick-service lunch menu. This role provides an excellent opportunity for individuals passionate about learning sausage-making and craft BBQ to develop their skills.n

Duties

- Prepare ingredients by washing, chopping, slicing, and measuring according to recipes and specifications
- Assist in cooking and assembling dishes during service
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the prep station and kitchen area
- Follow food safety guidelines to prevent cross-contamination and ensure proper handling of ingredients
- Support the kitchen team with food handling, storage, and inventory management
- Assist with meal preparation for special events or catering as needed
- Ensure all food is prepared efficiently while maintaining high-quality standards
- Short order food service
- Interact with customers, providing astute and knowledgable service

Experience

n





- Previous experience in food service, restaurant, or kitchen environment preferred
- Knowledge of food preparation techniques, cooking methods, and food safety practices is advantageous
- Familiarity with serving and meal presentation is a plus
- Experience with food handling and maintaining cleanliness in a professional kitchen setting is desirable
- Prior work in the food industry or restaurant experience will be considered an asset
