About the opportunity:

nThe Replenishment Supervisor’s primary function is to optimize releases of packaging and ingredients from suppliers into the plant inventory in accordance with established purchase agreements. This includes purchasing consumables to meet plant usage requirements and acting as liaison with all approved vendors of packaging, ingredients and consumables.n

The attributes we are looking for:

n

- Responsible for the release of ingredients, packaging and consumables orders to the approved vendors through the system (SAP). Ensure adherence to EOQ’s for packaging and consumables.
- Analyze the forecast to ensure accuracy due to variability of the precision of the information in SAP.
- Ensure Lactalis GMP, HACCP, and quality specifications are communicated to and maintained by approved vendors.




- Investigate root cause of material and/or service deficiencies and monitor corresponding supplier performance to ensure future accuracy. Resolve quality non-conformances (defects) with ingredients, packaging, and consumables vendors. Ensure all defects are returned to the approved vendor and the appropriate credit obtained.
- Oversee new product introductions and discontinuances of packaging for start ups of new products and ensure minimal write offs for discontinued packaging. Provide recommendations on phase out and start updates.
- Ensure all discontinued items are disposed of in a timely fashion and in accordance with Parmalat requirements.
- Maintain inventory at target levels by observing packaging and ingredients inventory amounts in SAP and order materials according to appropriate levels set.
- Responsible for reviewing and resolving inventory discrepancies between production and shipped to 3PL.
- Supervision of the administrative support team.

What you will bring:

n

- University degree or College diploma in Business Management (Supply Chain major)
- SCMP/Logistics certification an asset
- Three (3) years experience in related fields
- Proficient with standard office computer technology such as Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, and Access) as well as business systems such as SAP
- Strong inter-personal skills and communication skills




- Ability to multi-task
- Ability to maintain effective working relationships with vendors
