Overview

nWe are seeking an experienced and dynamic Restaurant Manager to oversee daily operations within our bustling establishment. The ideal candidate will possess robust leadership skills, a passion for hospitality, and extensive knowledge of food preparation and safety standards. The successful applicant will be responsible for managing staff, maintaining operational efficiency, and delivering a memorable dining experience for our guests.

Responsibilities

- Supervise and coordinate all restaurant activities to ensure smooth operation
- Lead and motivate a team of staff, including servers, kitchen personnel, and baristas, fostering a positive working environment
- Oversee food preparation and cooking processes to maintain quality standards
- Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and hygiene standards across all departments
- Manage inventory levels, order supplies, and oversee food production to minimise waste
- Organise staff schedules, delegate tasks effectively, and monitor performance
- Handle customer enquiries and resolve any issues promptly to guarantee satisfaction
- Implement training programmes to enhance team skills in hospitality, serving, and food safety practices




- Maintain cleanliness and organisation within the restaurant environment
- Collaborate with suppliers and vendors to ensure timely delivery of ingredients and equipment

Requirements

n

- Proven supervising experience within a restaurant or hospitality setting
- Robust team management skills with the ability to lead by example
- Extensive restaurant experience with knowledge of food preparation, culinary techniques, and kitchen operations
- Familiarity with food safety regulations and standards in the UK
- Experience in food production, serving, hospitality, or hotel environments is highly desirable
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively
- Leadership qualities combined with excellent communication skills
- Knowledge of barista experience or bar management is advantageous but not essential
- A proactive approach to problem-solving and customer service excellence
