### Your Chance The primary responsibilities of this position include:
n
- Support visitor safety and accident reduction through positive interactions with visitors
- Responsible for ensuring the ongoing safety of visitors and staff by inspecting trails and surrounding areas for hazards or poor surface conditions
- Inspect all medical equipment, medical bags, and ATVs prior to start of shift
- Respond to incidents and provide First Aid and other support as required
- Ensure all documentation is completed accurately, reviewed, and submitted in a timely manner
- Assist in risk management/accident investigations as required
- Support a collaborative team environment by offering support to other departments as time permits
- Be prepared for any situation that may arise
- Safely operate ATV or vehicle in a variety of conditions (training provided)
- Work in accordance with the Conservation Halton’s Safety Policies & Procedures and the Occupational Health and Safety Act and Regulations and all other related manuals.
- Other duties as assigned
n### Your Qualificationsn
- Availability:
- 15 hours (minimum) each pay period (every 2 weeks)
- Must attend pre-season training
- Minimum 1 year experience as a patrol volunteer, or related work experience
- Strong communication skills – both verbal and written documentation skills are essential
