Position Overview The Sourcing Manager will lead strategic sourcing for indirect goods and services across Supply Chain spend categories, including Transportation (LTL/FTL, Linehaul), Home Delivery (First Mile / Last Mile), Small Parcel Delivery, Warehousing, Distribution, and Reverse Logistics. This role is responsible for driving cost savings, improving supplier performance, and supporting corporate projects with a sourcing mandate.

The Sourcing Manager will work closely with business areas to identify sourcing needs, evaluate suppliers, negotiate and manage contracts, and monitor compliance and supplier performance.

Key Responsibilities

n

- Assess sourcing opportunities and supply markets to develop and implement sourcing strategies.
- Collaborate with business areas to define requirements and identify suppliers that meet specifications and quality standards.
- Execute strategic sourcing best practices, including negotiation, RFx processes, supplier evaluation, and cost optimization.
- Negotiate supplier contracts to ensure the best value for products and services.
- Maintain standard rate cards for negotiated contracts and benchmark market rates.
- Manage supplier relationships, collect and analyze performance data, and recommend improvements.
- Track and report cost savings, performance metrics, and contract compliance.
- Identify category-related cost-saving opportunities, such as specification rationalization or demand management.




- Support cross-functional initiatives to address business challenges and enhance competitive advantage.
- Monitor purchase orders, vendor service, delivery schedules, and product quality.
- Provide guidance to Sourcing Analysts, including setting performance expectations and reviewing outcomes.

Experience and Qualifications

n

- 3–7 years of strategic sourcing experience, including contract negotiation, competitive price analysis, supplier relationship management, and performance tracking.
- Broad sourcing experience across multiple indirect goods and services categories, including transportation, courier services, warehousing, distribution, and reverse logistics.
- College degree in business or related field, or equivalent years of experience.
- Experience with sourcing/procurement technology such as Ariba, Coupa, or Keelvar.
- Deep knowledge of sourcing best practices, including reverse auctions, online bidding, and supplier performance scorecards.
- CPM certification is a plus.
- Strong project management experience.
- Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills; strong negotiation and conflict resolution skills.
- Ability to interact effectively across cross-functional teams and all levels of management.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and high-level analytical tools.
- Highly organized, professional, self-motivated, and a team player.
