We’re looking for a Sous Chef to support our kitchen’s daily prep and batch production. This role is perfect for someone who’s hands-on, calm under pressure, and knows how to keep a kitchen running clean and efficiently.

Role Description

nWe are seeking an experienced and innovative Sous Chef for a full-time, on-site role located in Toronto, ON.n

The Sous

nChef will assist in managing kitchen operations, support menu development, supervise food preparation, and maintain quality standards.n

Responsibilities include ensuring food safety, assisting in inventory and supply management, training kitchen staff, and maintaining a clean and organized kitchen workplace. The role involves collaboration with the Head Chef and team to deliver exceptional dining experiences for events of varying scales.

What We’re Looking For

nThis is not an entry-level role.



You should already be a strong cook with solid fundamentals and real kitchen experience.n

- You’ve worked in a structured kitchen, ideally fine dining or high-performance environments
- You understand systems, consistency, and how to execute at scale without compromising quality
- You can move fast, stay organized, and keep your station tight under pressure
- You take pride in clean work, clean cuts, and clean kitchens
- You don’t need to be told how to season, taste, or adjust on the fly
- You’re reliable, accountable, and show up ready to work

nWhat You’ll Be Responsible Forn

- Leading daily prep and batch production with consistency and efficiency
- Supporting menu development and testing alongside the Head Chef
- Maintaining strict quality control across all food leaving the kitchen
- Managing inventory, ordering, and minimizing waste
- Training and guiding junior team members
- Upholding cleanliness, organization, and food safety standards at all times
