Job Description:

nOlde York Fish & Chips, a cherished dining establishment in Leaside, is seeking an independent and motivated individual to join our team as a Full-Time Morning Take-Out Staff member. If you excel in customer service, can manage tasks efficiently, and are detail-oriented, we invite you to apply for this position.n

Responsibilities:

n

- Take walk-in orders at the cash register, handle cash, and complete transaction payments.
- Answer phone calls and take phone orders accurately.
- Package orders following specific instructions to ensure quality.
- Maintain explicit communication with the team and kitchen staff.
- Assist servers and managers with tasks in the dining room as needed.
- Prioritize tasks effectively and stay motivated during downtime.
- Ensure attention to detail, maintaining our high standards and neat system.
- Experience with Doordash is a plus

Requirements:

- Ability to work independently during the morning shift.
- Robust task prioritization skills.




- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
- Self-motivated and proactive during slower periods.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills.
- Previous experience in a similar role is preferred but not required.
