The Communication Specialist will help translate strategy into action. In addition to supporting the overall volume and digestion of communications to the Sales teams of the Bank.
n
Position Responsibilities
n
- Develop and compile monthly newsletter content
n
- Draft internal calendar invitations and post‑event surveys
n
- Maintain and update the Communications and Webinar Calendars
n
- Manage translation requests (AI and Versacom)
n
- Coordinate compliance review submissions and workflows (RedOak)
n
- Coordinate national webinar requests and scheduling
n
- Draft internal communications for review and approval
n
- Maintain and update SharePoint content
n
- Provide meeting and event support, including Slido management, slide progression, and technical coordination
n
- Create basic visual assets and templates using PowerPoint and Brand Hub
n
- Support metrics reporting, including email open rates, click‑through rates, and webinar attendance
n
- Perform other related duties as assigned
n
Required Qualifications:
n
- Minimum four years’ experience in communications management, consulting and/or project management.
n
- Ability to develop and maintain strong relationships with all company functional areas, management levels, and various types of external vendors and agencies.
n
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills are required.
n
- Strong proofreading skills are essential.
n
- Exceptional attention to detail is critical.
n
- Ability to juggle many projects and work within tight time constraints is a must.
n
Preferred Qualifications:
n
- Financial services industry experience is considered a strong asset but is not required.
All candidates will be expected to develop a working knowledge of banking products.
n
- Bilingualism (English and French) is an asset. If the successful candidate is in Québec, proficiency in both languages will be required to support clients from various provinces outside of Quebec.
