West Coast Medical Centre is a well-established patient panel that complies with the Recent to Practice contract. Patients all have well-documented medical histories and medications, using MEDACCESS EMR.Office space is located in the same building as 3 full-time Family Physicians, with in-house Lifelabs and Pharmacy.Opportunity to participate in surgical assisting, maternity, ER shifts, hospitalist work, and rounding on your own patients at the local West Coast General Hospital (hospital privileges available).You may be eligible for additional remuneration in accordance with the Rural Subsidiary Agreement (RSA), including (subject to change):Recruitment Incentive: $10,000 (full-time)Relocation Costs Reimbursement: up to $15,000 (amount based on location relocating from)Fee Premium: 7.98%Annual Flat Fee: $12,366.72Rural CME: starting at $2,200.00 per annum after 3 and 4 years, up to a maximum of $4,400.00 per annum after 4 years.The above amounts are current as of August 2024 and may be subject to change.Overhead costs depend on the remuneration choice of the candidate.Community Information Port Alberni, a coastal city with a population of 18,000,
