Summary This job is responsible for operating equipment in the main processing line and performing upstream grading functions to meet operational goals and customer specifications.

Key Responsibilities Ensures system control points within each unit operation aremonitoredand adjusted appropriately to meet operational goals and customer specifications.

Coordinates the line flow through processing functions including, but not limited to:peeler, blanching, ingredient addition, drying,frying,freezing, budget pounds, recovery, oil usage, retail percent, and energy conservation.

Ensure that other process data ismonitoredand recorded in

Manufacturing Management Suite [MMS].

Ensures operational procedures are efficiently and safely followed.

Ensures necessary level of communication ismaintainedwith team members and support groupsregardingline conditions.

Uses process control tomaintainuniformity, color, texture, solids, product temperatures,defect loading, weights, and freezing.

Ensures the correct and accurate completion of all written paperwork required of the position.

Reports food safety and safety hazards to proper personnel and follows up to ensure corrections.

Keeps work areas clean and completes all sanitation tasks assigned, including during shut-down clean-ups and start-up sanitation.





Ensures no injuries to self or others by following protected work practices and policies.

Ensures attendance and participation in training activities appropriate to the position and to incorporate acquired skills and knowledge.

Ensure the interface with team members and other support groups is conducted in a participative management style conducive with operational goals.

Typical Education General Education Degree (GED) Relevant Experience Ensures system control points within each unit operation aremonitoredand adjusted appropriately to meet operational goals and customer specifications.
