Assistant Store Manager – Metrotown New Opening (Full-Time)

We’re looking for energetic and experienced Retail Assistant Store Managers to support the Store Managers to lead our team in Metrotown. The ideal candidate is customer-focused, results-driven, and passionate about delivering an exceptional in-store shopping experience.
As an ATACZ Store Manager here’s what you’ll be doing:
You lead a team of up to 10 team members to deliver best-in-class customer experience.
Leadership and Team Development:
· Hire, train, and develop a team of Sales Associates and Key Holders.
· Foster a performance-driven culture focused on accountability, recognition, and growth Schedule and staff the store to ensure optimal coverage and productivity.
· Lead daily floor operations and provide in-the-moment coaching and feedback.
Customer Experience
· Ensure every customer receives outstanding service aligned with the ATACZ brand values.
· Build customer relationships by ensuring timely follow-ups and arranging CRM activities.
· Resolve customer concerns with empathy, speed, and discretion.
· Maintain high standards of product knowledge across the team.
Sales & KPI Achievement
· Drive store performance to exceed sales targets and KPIs (Conversion Rate, UPT, APT, etc).
· Implement selling strategies and in-store marketing initiatives.
· Monitor daily, weekly, and monthly sales reports and adjust tactics as needed.
Operations & Inventory Management
· Oversee all aspects of store operations including opening/closing, cash handling, safety, and loss prevention.
· Ensure accurate inventory management and stock replenishment.
· Maintain visual merchandising and store cleanliness standards at all times.
Launch & Store Opening
· Support the execution of all pre-opening tasks: recruiting, onboarding, training, merchandising, and setup.
· Work closely with the head office team to ensure a successful and timely launch.
Are you our Store Manager?
· 2+ years of retail management experience, preferably in fashion, footwear, or accessories.
· Bilingualism is a strong asset given the diverse clientele we serve, though not required.
· Passionate about sustainability, customer service, and retail excellence.
· Strong leadership, communication, and team-building skills.
· Proven ability to drive sales and achieve business goals.
· Tech-savvy with experience in POS systems and sales reporting tools.
· Availability of working on weekends, evenings, and holidays as needed.
· Willing to support temporary pop-up stores in other locations within BC.
Compensation & Benefits
Salary:
· $23 - 25 per hour - based on experience.
· Sales bonus based on store performance.
· Full-time role (Up to 40 hours per week).
· Overtime pay applies if working beyond standard hours and statutory holidays.
